This week's theme is on the farm. Play animal rescue with your toddler, explore new kinds of stamps and save the animals from the safety of the laundry basket.
Read On The Farm with your toddler and enjoy the Ultimate Farm Activity Book. For the rhyme, listen to Old MacDonald had a farm.
Here is your sensory play idea for this week's theme. Get out some plastic farm animals and tape them to a surface with masking tape. Get your toddler to rescue them. Similar to previous week's themes, why don't you leave them in a box to extend play?
For this week's arts and crafts get out the paint again. Find some plastic toy animals that have proper feet and get your toddler to try stamping with them. Use washable paint for an easy clean up - these crayola tubs are our favourite.
And for the last bit of farm week - the active play idea. Get all the animals you can find - whether they are soft or hard plastic it doesn't matter - and throw them around the room. Put your toddler in a laundry basket or box and push them around getting them to save the animals. You will probably give up on this game before they do, it's definitely more of a workout for the adult!
For farm week print off the activity pages and get your toddler colouring in, spotting the difference and matching the animal to the word.
