This week's theme is all about the arctic. Get your toddler to help rescue the frozen animals, make polar bear cards out of potato and do some arctic animals yoga.
Introduce your toddler to new sounds with the Arctic Animals Sound Book. We love this series of books - Woodland Sounds was the first baby/toddler book we were given!
This week's sensory play is pretty simple. Make some ice cubes and pop in plastic animals before freezing them. Get your toddler to break them out using warm water and tools.
This week we are going to make potato stamp polar bears. Cut a potato in half and encourage your toddler to stamp with it. Draw ears and snowflakes with a paint brush or fingerprints. Add snow to the ground. When it's dry add eyes and a nose.
These are the washable paints and colourful card that we always end up rebuying on Amazon.
Why don't you try some arctic animal yoga with your toddler? See how many of these animal shapes you can make!

DownloadWe've chosen more items you hopefully have around the home for next week's theme. You'll need some letters (magnetic, shape sorting, it really doesn't matter) and some post it notes.
