This week act out the book A Tiger Who Came To Tea, make tigers out of card and play keepy uppy with a tiger.
The book this week is an obvious one considering the theme. Yes, it's The Tiger Who Came to Tea. Pick up a copy here if you haven't got one already. And sing Can You Dance Like A Tiger with your toddler for this week's rhyme.
This week's sensory play is based around the book the tiger who came to tea!
The simplest set up would be gathering up any toy food and tea set items you have, reading the book and acting it out.
Then if you wanted to you could add in a container with tiger coloured fillers!
I reused the red lentils from a few weeks ago then hunted around to find something to make tiger stripes. If I'd planned it I would have dyed some rice black. But I didn't so I used grey shredded paper instead.
We read the book together and scooped and poured the lentils into the tea cups.
Make a tiger out of a piece of orange card this week!
And there you have it, a tiger!

I got an orange balloon and drew tiger stripes onto it with a black marker pen. Then threw it around the room with my toddler!
