This week, count flies to feed the frog in the sensory play activity, make jumping frogs and keep active by hopping across the lily pads.
This week's book is the fantastic Oi Frog. We may have got a bit too into it and bought all the other books in the series, so be warned!
This week's rhyme is 5 little speckled frogs.
We've created a counting game for you to play this week for your sensory play with your toddler. Help your toddler count out the correct number of flies on the cards and to feed them to the frog. The file is available to download for free below. We stuck the paper to cardboard for extra durability.
This week make jumping frogs with your toddler. You will need a square of paper to start. Plain is fine, added points if you manage to find a piece of green paper to use. Follow the instructions up on here (link to follow shortly) and then get your toddler to help decorate the frog before jumping it across the room!
Jump across the lily pads in this week's active play. We used cushions scattered around the floor and leap from one to another. If you are feeling creative and have green felt you could cut out lily pad shaped pieces and use these for the game.
Next week you'll need some dark gravel (if you have any from a fish tank set up or outside area), a toilet or kitchen roll and tin foil.
